baby j

so my goal is to update this blog as much as possible! i feel like i'm already slacking! since we're so far away i want to make sure that ya'll are able to follow us on this exciting journey! :) so, here we go!

this baby has a ton of nicknames already- baby newsom, baby new new, sweet baby, little one and my new fave BABY J! why baby j? well, for those of you who don't know this baby's name WILL begin with a j! it's a newsom tradition you see, my father in law is james, then there's jr, jason, jesse and jennifer. jason and amy have 2 sweet girls and what are their names? jasmyn and jayda! so, i knew good and well on may 3, 2008 that by saying "i do" didn't only mean marriage but i will name all my children j-something! to be honest it's really grown on me! i think it's a sweet tradition and there are quite a few j-names that i'm loving (good thing, right).

since we are NOT fiding out the sex of the baby (please don't ask me why or tell me your opinion on it...it's our decision and we love suprises!) i will refer to this baby as baby j! :)

baby j and i have a dr. appt. tomorrow! i've never been more excited to go the drs! he/she is the size of an apple this week (week 15). i feel GREAT! i'm loving 2nd trimester! i have enough energy to actually walk 30-60 min everyday, i'm not feeling like i could throw up any minute and there really isn't any foods that i don't want (except meat really). i have been getting heartburn at night but that just means baby j will have a lot of hair...right?
