Merry CHRISTmas
Fear not, for behold I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people. For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, which is CHRIST Jesus, the Lord.
This year I really tried to keep my focus on the real meaning of CHRISTmas. It's so easy to get caught up in the hustle and bustle of this time of the year!It was difficult for me to remember this while working retail but I was constantly reminded of God daily. As I said before Jesse and I are so blessed and so thankful for everything God has given us!
Here's what our Christmas morning looked like...
Boston ready to open his gifts!
My sweet boys!
My sweet baby girl!
Boston enjoying his presents

As I post this my sweet little pup is having surgery. :( She has a bowel obstruction (probably this soccer ball to be honest). I know that she is in good hands and God will take care of her! Please say a prayer for her today! I'll post soon about surgery and her recovery!

christmas eve 2010
This was the first year that Jesse and I did not go home for Christmas. While we missed our families it was so nice to relax and enjoy the holiday and start our OWN traditions that we will carry on forever! Christmas eve we went to our NC family The Semanderes' and visited with them before heading to church. After the wonderful candle light church service (amazing by the way), we came home and cooked a traditional Hawaiian breakfast-Portuguese sausage, eggs and rice! It's one of our favorite meals! After dinner we opened a gift and headed to bed.

blessings
Just for the record. I've been trying to blog for the past few weeks now but for some reason our computer wouldn't let me upload these pics! FINALLY it worked today! So now I can share with you our December!!
During the 2nd week of December my mother-in-law underwent MAJOR surgery in Nashville. We headed east to be with her during this trying time. She was having major surgery and we wanted to let her know that we were there for her! Praise the Lord her surgery went WONDERFULLY and she's at home resting and recovering. While we were there we spent some time with our sweet sweet nieces that we don't get to see as much as we would like to! They are such a blessing to us and we long for the day that we live closer to one another.
Building a gingerbread house!
Silly face!
My sweet nieces!
